The Irish Setter is one of the most regal and beautiful animals in the canine world. They have changed immensely
since they first became known in the field as bird dogs. It was not uncommon for them to be found in front of the fireplace
in the evening in their master's home. They are still used in the field as hunting dogs but they are also excellent pets.
Extremely active and high energy, Setters are also loyal and loving. They do require a lot of activity and must be exercised
daily and for a fairly long time. If they have adequate activity to clear their minds, they learn very quickly and are eager
to please! Setters are gentle and caring, they seem to only want to get along with everyone!
